About OASIS
OASIS Welfare organization was established in 2006 with just only 11 committed and dedicated women from this rural belt.
As time passed,the organization has gained physical & mental growth and as on today it is very fat with nearly more than 150 members from all walks of life inclusiue of doctors, professionals,teachers, lecturers,executives,media persons,business women,realtors,and few NRIs..etc..all sparing some of their valuable time for the growth of this organization.
Originally started its service activities from the headquarters,graduallyexpanded to the neibouring locations to cover many more needy people and their nesscsities like education,medical,health and hygiene ,emergencies,natural calamities etc. So far nearly 30,000 needy people were helped to a tune of Rs 5 crore.Still the urge for help from this organization is surmounting.

Activities done by this organization from 2006 onwards :

Free medical camps with the distribution of free medicines are being conducted regularly with experienced doctors in rural and urban slum locations for various diseases.
- Cancer screening camps (PAP SMEAR CAMPS)for women are conducted every year by expert woman doctors to create awareness among the women.
- Different free health camps like Diabetic,Thyroid ,Dermatology,Seasonal diseases ,Dental camps,Blood & Eye donation camps are conducted.
- Seminars are conducted for women students by psychiatrists in schools and colleges to create awareness among them on subjects like drug addiction,cyber crimes,misuse of internet etc.
- Seminars for girl students are conducted to make them aware of the physical changes in adolescence and problems of health and hygiene and the proper use of hygienic sanitary pads etc.
- HIV effected parents and their children were helped a lot with proper supply of protein rich food and clothes.
- Free distribution of tricycles to the physically challenged persons, sewing machines are given to the needy, lonely women to empower them.
- We have established a tailoring institute to provide employment and for the jobless and for those completed the course sewing machines were freely provided along with training certificates are given.
- Scholarships to the poor and meritorious students.
- Distributed uniforms,benches, books & stationary,computers, E-learning equipments,Tele visions,Ceiling fans,Steel plates & glasses ,sports equipments, Cycles, for government schools and colleges
- Distributed blankets,sarees,clothes & mosquito masks to the old-aged women every year.
- Donated Rupees Two lakh to A.P Capital city development (AMARAVATHI)on behalf of Oasis which includes Rupees one lakh from oasis president herself.
- Serving people, during natural calamities like cyclones and fire accidents with food,clothes,utensils & medicines.
- Every year on the eve of Women’s day, conducted on woman empowerment camps and, seminars by eminent speakers on various issues of women.breadcrumb-item
- Anniversaries are regularly conducted by inviting Ministers,writers and eminent persons.
- With the assistance & aid of all the members, crores of rupees are spent on various programs.We have been valiant in our efforts to understand various women’s issues and making them feel that this organization is all ways there for them.In this endevour ,service from elite women leaders was constantly aligned with our efforts.
